Modified Shipping Containers are the Wave of the Future

Not too long ago, used shipping containers held the esteemed purpose of storing your overflow junk that you weren’t quite ready to unload on your unsuspecting neighbors in a yard sale! Maybe, if you were especially ingenious, your 20’ cargo container served as a garden shed and kept your lawn mower, weed eater, and various other yard tools, safe and dry.

BUT THAT WAS THEN…THIS IS NOW!

Our mod shop is busier than ever working on 20’ & 40’ shipping containers installing man doors, roll up doors, cargo doors, lighting, power, windows, air conditioners, heaters, custom paint, and the list goes on and on! When our shop customizes a shipping container, they make sure to maintain the structural integrity of the shipping container by adding steel frames around windows, doors, and other cut outs. This not only keeps you safe, but keeps the box air tight and water proof!

At DRY BOX, our modification shop can fulfill any of your requests. We do temporary ground level construction site offices in both 20’ and 40’ lengths. Our 40’ Container Office has at 24’ storage compartment with cargo doors. We do custom storage units. We use a 40 Shipping container divided into 4, 10’ sections and place roll up doors in each partition.

Some people turn used insulated shipping containers into hydroponic gardens, workshops, saunas, art studios and more.

Maybe you just want a custom length shipping container or you have a more imaginative plan. Either way, give DRY BOX a call and see how we can make your custom idea into a reality!

We have a team standing by to take your call Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time! 1-888-DRY-BOXX

Before you buy a Shipping Container, READ THIS!

Is price the only thing that matters when you are purchasing a shipping container? NO WAY! While you are doing your research and price comparisons between containers, be sure that you are comparing apples to apples.
VIEW OF ONE OF THE DRY BOX SHIPPING YARDS
There are brokers out there who will NEVER actually see the cargo container that they are selling you. When you call, they give you a price, hire a driver and deliver you a container from a shipping yard. It may be stellar, or the paint may be faded and peeling, have leaks, dents, holes, or even awful aromas.

DRY BOX does things differently!  Our team of experienced sales agents, delivery drivers, and modification shop is at the shipping yard with the actual shipping container that will eventually be yours. That means we inspect each container that is purchased to ensure that they are wind-proof and water-tight. We will even walk into the yard and take photos of several containers so you can choose which one you want!

So before you jump at that “amazing price” be sure you are comparing apples to apples, and don’t be afraid to ask the person on the other end of the phone to send you photos of the actual container you are buying.

DRY BOX has several grades of shipping containers:

One Trip Containers
One trip containers are as close to a new container as you will get. They could have a few dents and dings, possibly rub marks, and minor stains.

20' Shipping Containers • 40' Shipping Containers

A Grade Containers
Our A-Grade Containers are used containers with minimal dents and dings. They look great and they will keep your items, safe and dry.

20' Shipping Containers • 40' Shipping Containers • Modified

 Mid-Grade Containers
A mid-grade container is one the younger containers in any shipping yard. Generally, they are built after 2000. They have a few dents, and dings, but they maintain structural integrity and will keep whatever is inside dry.

20' Shipping Containers • 40' Shipping Containers • Custom Sizes

DRY BOX has other containers and modified containers to suit your budgets and needs. We also offer shipping containers for rent
